District of Ferizaj is one of the districts of Republic of Kosovo. Ferizaj is the seat of the district. Municipalities The district of Ferizaj consists of five municipalities and 126 settlements. A municipality ( sq, komuna, sr, / ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. There are 38 municipalities in Kosovo; 27 of which have an Albanian ethnic majority, 10 Serb and 1 Turkish. After the 2013 Brussels Agreement, signed by the governments of Kosovo and Serbia, an agreement was made to create a Community of Serb Municipalities, which would operate within Kosovo's legal framework. Elez Han
Hani i Elezit or Elez Han ( sq-definite, Han i Elezit or ''Hani i Elezit''; sr, Ђенерал Јанковић, ''Đeneral Janković''; officially Елез Хан, ''Elez Han'') is a town and municipality located in the Ferizaj District of Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Elez Han has 2,533 inhabitants, while the municipality has 9,403 inhabitants. It is one of the new formed municipalities formed in September 2005. Kosovo Agency of Statistics ( sq, Agjencia e Statistikave të Kosovës, sr, Agencija za statistiku Kosova, script=Latn) is the national statistics bureau of Kosovo. It was officially created in 1948, but restarted working as an independent agency in 1999. Kosovo Albanians
The Albanians of Kosovo ( sq, Shqiptarët e Kosovës, ), also commonly called Kosovo Albanians, Kosovar/Kosovan Albanians or Kosovars/Kosovans, constitute the largest ethnic group in Kosovo.
