Seán Ryan (born 27 January 1943) is an Irish former Labour Party (Ireland), Labour Party politician. He was a Teachta Dála (TD) for Dublin North (Dáil constituency), Dublin North from 1989 to 1997 and 1998 to 2007. Ryan was born in Dublin and educated at North Strand Vocational School, the Dublin Institute of Technology, College of Technology, Bolton Street, the National College of Ireland, College of Industrial Relations, and the School of Management, Rathmines College of Commerce. Ryan was formerly Production Controller and Work Study Supervisor with CIÉ and Iarnród Éireann before entering into full-time politics. In 1985 he was elected to Fingal County Council. Sean M. Ryan is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the New York State Senate from the 61st District. A Democrat, he previously served as a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021, and the 60th District from 2021 to 2022. Ryan (born March 27, 1980) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. Personal Ryan is a 2010 graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He swam with the Scenic City Aquatic Club, a USA Swimming program, and The McCallie School, under coach Stan Corcoran. He was a member of the National Junior Team and qualified for the National Open Water Team in 2008. Seán Ryan (1919–1985) was a famous Irish master fiddler and whistler. Ryan was born at Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. He won the Oireachtas in 1954, the Senior All Ireland Fiddle Championship in 1955 and 1956, and the All Ireland Duet Championship title with P.J. Moloney in 1956. Ryan had 3 sisters and 6 brothers. His 3 sisters and 2 of his brothers have also died. Ryan came up from Nenagh to Garryhinch, Portarlington where he stayed with his grandmother, and it was while he was living with his grandmother that he met his first wife Anna Dunne. Sean Ryan (born 27 March 1948) is a former Irish judge who served as President of the Court of Appeal until March 2018. He previously served as a Judge of the High Court from 2003 to 2014. As a barrister, he was Senior Counsel to the inquiry into abuse in the Catholic diocese of Ferns (the Ferns Report), and was Chairman of the Compensation Advisory Committee that prepared guidelines on compensation to be paid to abuse survivors at the Residential Institutions Redress Board.
