Seán Loftus (hurler)
Seán Loftus (born 1997) is an Irish hurling, hurler who plays for Galway Senior Hurling Championship, Galway Senior Championship club Turloughmore GAA, Turloughmore and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. He is usually deployed as a corner-back, but can also be deployed at midfield. Playing career Presentation College Athenry Loftus attended the Presentation College, Athenry, Presentation College in Athenry with whom he played hurling at all grades. On 2 March 2014, he was at left wing-back when the college defeated St. Brigid's College from Loughrea by 1-16 to 0-16 to win the Connacht Championship. Turloughmore
Turloughmore ( ; ) is a village in County Galway, Ireland. The name means "the large lake," a notable feature of the area, together with the Clare River (''Abhainn an Chláir''). Turloughmore lies on the N63 national secondary road. It is a small village consisting of two petrol stations, three pubs and the base of a bus service company. Turloughmore was designated as a census town by the Central Statistics Office for the first time in the 2016 census, at which time it had a population of 240 people. 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 130th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 23 April 2017 and ended on 3 September 2017. The draw for the championship was held on 13 October 2016 and was broadcast live on RTÉ2. Tipperary, the 2016 champions, were defeated by Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final. Meath fielded a team in the championship for the first time since 2004. On 3 September 2017 Galway won the championship following a 0–26 to 2–17 defeat of Waterford in the All-Ireland final. Adrian Tuohey (born 14 May 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Beagh and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. Playing career Club Tuohey joined the Beagh club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Paul Killeen (born 24 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system.
