Seyi Adekoya
Adeseyi "Seyi" Shinobu Adeyinka Adekoya ( ; born December 5, 1995) is an American soccer player who plays as a forward. Career Youth, college and amateur A product of Lakeside School (Seattle), Adekoya spent his youth career with Crossfire Premier from 2011 to 2013 and with the Seattle Sounders FC academy from 2013 to 2014 before signing a letter of intent to play college soccer at UCLA. He made a total of 55 appearances for the Bruins and finished with 20 goals and eight assists. He also played in the Premier Development League for FC Golden State Force. Professional On January 17, 2017, Adekoya signed a homegrown player contract with Seattle Sounders FC, making him the ninth homegrown signing in club history. Sacramento Republic FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California, that plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship, the second level in US soccer. Co-founded by Warren Smith and Joe Wagoner in 2012, the team started play in 2014 at the 20,231-seat Hughes Stadium, before moving midseason to their current home at Heart Health Park. USL Championship
The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy.
