Duccio Tessari
Duccio Tessari (11 October 1926 – 6 September 1994) was an Italian director, screenwriter and actor, considered one of the fathers of Spaghetti Westerns. Born in Genoa Genoa ( ; it, Genova ; lij, Zêna ). is the capital of the Italian region of Liguria and the List of cities in Italy, sixth-largest city in Italy. In 2015, 594,733 people lived within the city's administrative limits. As of the 2011 Italian ce ..., Tessari started in the fifties as documentarist and as screenwriter of Peplum (film genre), peplum films. In 1964 he co-wrote Sergio Leone's ''A Fistful of Dollars'', one year later he gained an impressive commercial success and launched the Giuliano Gemma's career with ''A Pistol for Ringo'' and its immediate sequel, ''The Return of Ringo''. Carole André
Carole André-Smith (born 11 March 1953) is a French-Italian former actress. Her best known role was Kabir Bedi's love interest Lady Marianna, nicknamed "", in the successful RAI series ''Sandokan'' (1976). Since retiring from acting, she has been the International Marketing Director at Cinecittà Studios, as well as an architect and interior designer. Life and career Growing up in Rome as the daughter of French actress Gaby André and American businessman Ely Smith, Carole André already spent time on the sets of Cinecittà at a very early age. In an interview, she remembered she "was always happy at Cinecittà. It felt like I was in another dimension, where crazy things were normal." Massimo Felisatti (12 May 1932 – 7 September 2016) was an Italian novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and director. Biography Born in Ferrara, Felisatti graduated in Modern Letters, and then he started collaborating with some local newspapers, also directing the cultural magazine ''Ferrara''. In 1966 he moved to Rome, where he first worked as translator and essayist. In the 1970s he started a proficuous collaboration with the writer Fabio Pittorru, debuting with the successful giallo novel ''Violenza a Roma'', and writing screenplays for numerous films and for the crime TV-series ''Qui squadra mobile''. Fabio Pittorru (24 August 1928 – 4 September 1995) was an Italian novelist, essayist, screenwriter, journalist and film director. Biography Born in Ferrara, after the World War II Pittorru was very active in the local cultural scene, working as a documentarist and as a journalist. In the mid-1960s he moved to Rome, where he started a proficuous collaboration with Massimo Felisatti, writing some successful giallo novels and several film screenplays. He was also very active on television, co-creating with Felisatti the crime TV-series ''Qui squadra mobile'', and writing a number of screenplays for television films. In 1974, he wrote and directed the commedia sexy all'italiana ''Amore mio spogliati... che poi ti spiego!''. Pittorru's literary works include biographies, historic essays and humorous novels. Christian De Sica
Christian De Sica (; born 5 January 1951) is an Italian actor and film director. Life De Sica was born in Rome the second son of Italian director Vittorio De Sica and Spanish actress María Mercader. His first cousin once removed was Ramón Mercader, the murderer of Leon Trotsky. After attending Liceo classico in Rome, where he had Carlo Verdone as his deskmate, De Sica worked in a hotel in Venezuela, where he began his career as an artist. He enrolled in Lettere (Literature and Arts) at La Sapienza university (1970) but did not graduate. He was attracted to music, and participated in the Sanremo Festival singing "Mondo mio" ("My World") (1973). However, the results convinced him to follow in his father's footsteps and devote himself to acting. Oreste Lionello (18 April 1927 – 19 February 2009) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Lionello was born in Rhodes (which was then a possession of Italy), to Calabrian parents, and grew up in Reggio Calabria. He began his career as a theatre actor, and was considered amongst the founders of Italian cabaret. In 1953 he entered the Musical Theatrical Company of RAI (Italian state TV) and the following year he debuted in television with ''Marziano Filippo'', a boys' show. In the 1960s, he was one of the founders of the Bagaglino comic theatre and TV company and he had found success as an entertainer on Italian TV in the 1970s and 1980s. As an actor, Lionello acted in over 56 feature films and several television shows.
