Severin County
Severin County was a county ( Romanian: '' județ'') in the Kingdom of Romania, in the historical region of the Banat. Its capital was Lugoj. Severin County was established in 1926, disbanded with the administrative reform of 1938, re-created in 1940, and finally disbanded with the administrative reform of 1950. Geography Severin County covered 6,422 km2 and was located in the south-western part of Greater Romania, in the eastern part of the Banat. Currently, the territory that comprised Severin County is divided between Timiș, Caraș-Severin, Arad and Mehedinți counties. In the interwar period, the county neighbored Caraș and Timiș-Torontal counties to the west, Arad County to the north, Hunedoara County to the east, Mehedinți County to the southeast, and Kingdom of Yugoslavia to the south. Caraș County
Caraș County is one of the historic counties of Romania in the historic region of the Banat. The county seat was Oravița. The county was founded in 1926, following the division of the former Caraș-Severin County. In 1938, the county was disestablished and incorporated into the newly formed Ținutul Timiș, but it was re-established in 1940 after the fall of Carol II's regimeonly to be abolished 10 years later by the Communist regime on September 6, 1950. Geography Caraș County covered 4,693 km2 and was located in the Banat region in the southwestern part of Greater Romania. Currently, the territory that comprised Caraș County is mostly now included in the reconstituted Caraș-Severin County. Balinț
Balinț ( hu, Bálinc; german: Balintz) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Balinț, Bodo ( hu, Nagybodófalva), Fădimac ( hu, Fagymag) and Târgoviște ( hu, Vásáros). It borders Bara to the north, Coșteiu to the south, Belinț and Ghizela to the west and Bethausen to the east. History Since the 10th–11th centuries, there have been numerous floods on the middle course of the Bega River. Balinț, being located 500 meters from the Bega riverbed, was periodically flooded. In the 11th century, some of the villagers moved to a hearth protected from floods. A new village appears, derived from the first, ''Balințul de Sus'' (Upper Balinț), located in the Church valley, and ''Balințul de Jos'' (Lower Balinț) remains on the old hearth. Orșova

Făget (; hu, Facsád; german: Fatschet) is a town in Timiș County, Romania, with a population of about 7,500. The town administers ten villages: Bătești, Begheiu Mic, Bichigi, Brănești, Bunea Mare, Bunea Mică (depopulated), Colonia Mică, Jupânești, Povârgina and Temerești. Name Its name literally means "beech forest" in Romanian. Caransebeș
Caransebeș (; german: Karansebesch; hu, Karánsebes, Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a municipiu, city in Caraș-Severin County, part of the Banat region in southwestern Romania. It is located at the confluence of the Timiș (river), River Timiș with the Sebeș River (Timiș), River Sebeș, the latter coming from the Țarcu Mountains.
