Sevens (album)
''Sevens'' is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Garth Brooks. It was released on November 25, 1997, and debuted at #1 on the ''Billboard'' 200, and on the Top Country Albums chart. To date, it is Brooks' last studio album to be certified diamond by the RIAA. The album also topped the Country album charts in Britain for several months and crossed over into the mainstream pop charts. His duet with Trisha Yearwood, "In Another's Eyes", won the Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals at the Grammy Awards of 1998. ''Sevens'' was nominated for the Best Country Album Grammy the following year. Background Brooks commented on the album by saying: "I'm proud, I'm excited, I'm nervous, and it feels good to be back in the game again. This is a very personal album. Darrell DeShawn Camp (born August 29, 1966) is an American musician who performs country and Americana music. Originally signed to Reprise Records in 1993 as a recording artist, Camp charted two minor singles on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts that year. Since then he has found success as a songwriter, having co-written hit singles for many country music artists, including Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Josh Turner, Brooks & Dunn, and Blake Shelton, although he continues to record his own material as well. Kent Blazy (born in Lexington, Kentucky) is an American country music songwriter. His credits include several singles for Garth Brooks (including Brooks' first number one hit, "If Tomorrow Never Comes"), as well as singles by Gary Morris, Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless and Chris Young. Blazy has a total of seven No. 1 hits to his credit. Biography Kent Blazy was raised in Lexington, Kentucky.
