Seven Stories (band)
Seven Stories was an Australian rock group formed in Adelaide, initially as Tall Stories, in 1986. They were signed to Sony (then CBS Records) and released two studio albums, ''Judges and Bagmen'' (1990) and ''Everything You Want (Nothing That You Need)'' (1993). At the ARIA Music Awards in 1991 they were nominated for Breakthrough Artist – Single for "Sleeping Through Another War" (1990). The group disbanded in 1994. They were sessions musicians at the Good God recording studio, which was run by Rod Boucher and Chris Adams. Adelaide ( ) is the capital city of South Australia, the state's largest city and the fifth-most populous city in Australia. INXS
INXS (a word play, phonetic play on "in excess") were an Australian Rock music, rock band, formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales. The band's founding members were bassist Garry Gary Beers, main composer and keyboardist Andrew Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, guitarist Tim Farriss, lead singer and main lyricist Michael Hutchence, and guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly. For 20 years, INXS was fronted by Hutchence, whose magnetic stage presence made him the focal point of the band. The Sand Pebbles (band)
Sand Pebbles is a psychedelic rock band from Melbourne, Australia. History Formed on Bastille Day, 2001 on the set of Neighbours by three of the show's screenwriters Christopher Hollow (bass), Ben Michael (guitar) and Piet Collins (drums). Singer-guitarist Andrew Tanner (ex- Seven Stories) joined shortly after. In 2003, Murray Ono (born Murray Jamieson) was drafted in on keyboards. He left in 2005 and was replaced by Tor Larsen (of Melbourne psychedelic duo The Sun Blindness) on guitar and vocals. Following the sessions for ''Ceduna'' in 2008, Piet Collins left and was replaced by Cliff Booth (ex-Harem Scarem). In 2009, Wes Holland (also of The Sun Blindness) took over as drummer. Live At The Wireless
''Live at the Wireless'' is a radio show, and now a long-standing tradition, of Triple J, an Australian radio station. Live music is one of the central philosophies of the station. The live broadcasts take a number of forms. Some broadcasts are from open-air concerts and festivals, or smaller pub gigs around the country. Many are bands that have been invited into the Triple J studios to play a live set of tracks, usually acoustic. Occasionally, Triple J will give away tickets to listeners, to allow them to be a part of a special live performance in a secret location. All of the live broadcasts are recorded, and the station has released several double-CD compilations of live tracks. Many complete live sets are traded by music fans worldwide over the internet. Richard Pleasance
Richard Arnold Pleasance is an Australian rock musician and producer. He was a founding member of Boom Crash Opera on guitar, bass guitar, vocals and as a songwriter in 1985; they released three albums before Pleasance left in 1992. Their hit Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) singles, "Great Wall" (No. 5, 1986) and "Onion Skin" (No. 11, 1989) were co-written by Pleasance, who also co-produced their second album, '' These Here Are Crazy Times'' (No. 10, 1989). His debut solo release, ''Galleon'' received four nominations at the ARIA Music Awards for 1992. T-Bone Burnett
Joseph Henry "T Bone" Burnett III (born January 14, 1948) is an American record producer, guitarist and songwriter. He rose to fame as a guitarist in Bob Dylan's band during the 1970s. He has received multiple Grammy awards for his work in film music, including for ''O Brother, Where Art Thou?'' Paul Maurice Kelly (born 13 January 1955) is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist.
