Seven Seals (album)
''Seven Seals'' is the sixth album by the German power metal band Primal Fear, released on 15 October 2005. It is the first album with artwork which does not contain a scene depicting their bird-of-prey mascot, but instead a logo based upon it (a burning version of which is also seen on their next studio album '' New Religion''). It is also the first album recorded in Standard D Tuning. A music video was made for "Seven Seals". Album concept The album is about the battle between Heaven and Hell and how angels and demons will be affected by it. The song "Evil Spell" tries to explain that not all demons are evil creatures, but they "live under evil spells". The song "Seven Seals" is speaking of the Seven Seals broken in the Book of Revelation. The Fourth Seal is The Pale Horse whose rider is named Death "and Hell followed with Him". Randy Black
Randy Black (born November 17, 1963) is a Canadian-born rock drummer known best for his stints as the drummer for Bif Naked, Annihilator, and Primal Fear. Although Black's actual acoustic drum configuration is not unique to the field of drumming, his playing style is notable for his ability to play ambidextrously with a symmetrical set of cymbals, specifically a dual set of remote hi-hats and ride cymbals to his right and to his left respectively. Biography Black is a native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He got his first professional start in 1980 with a band called "The Edge". He did not start touring to any large degree until he joined the band "The Kaotics" in 1982. He then joined the band Click in 1984, who were known for their covers of material by bands such as Journey and Rush. Sinner (band)
Sinner is a German heavy metal band formed by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner in 1982 (who later joined Primal Fear). They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene. Their latest album, ''Brotherhood'', was released on 15 July 2022. History Based in Stuttgart, Germany, Sinner released their first album, ''Wild'n'Evil'' in 1982. This album, along with the next two (''Fast Decision'' and ''Danger Zone'') were raw affairs, having little in common with the melodic metal they would later become known for. After many personnel changes (including drummer Edgar Patrik leaving to join Bonfire), the band saw the addition of Accept's Herman Frank on guitars and the release of ''Touch of Sin'' in 1985. Ralf Scheepers
Ralf Scheepers (born 5 February 1965) is the vocalist for the German heavy metal band Primal Fear. He has a relatively high-pitched tenor-esque singing voice and sometimes uses a shriek reminiscent of Judas Priest's Rob Halford, although it is his baritone lows which give him a near four-octave range in the modal register. He has also sung in Gamma Ray and Tyran' Pace. Scheepers has also done guest vocals for the bands Avantasia, Scanner, Therion, Ayreon, and Shadow Gallery, and worked with Tom Galley on Phenomena's ''Blind Faith'' album. He currently provides instruction for all around singing, music, studio and recording/processing techniques at RS Vocal Works in Baltmannsweiler, Germany. Pale Horse (Bible)
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are figures in the Christian scriptures, first appearing in the Book of Revelation, a piece of apocalypse literature written by John of Patmos. Revelation 6 tells of a book or scroll in God's right hand that is sealed with seven seals. The Lamb of God/Lion of Judah opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. In John's revelation the first horseman rides a white horse, carries a bow, and is given a crown as a figure of conquest, perhaps invoking pestilence, Christ, or the Antichrist. Seven Seals
The Seven Seals of God from the Bible's Book of Revelation are the seven symbolic seals (, ''sphragida'') that secure the book or scroll that John of Patmos saw in an apocalyptic vision. The opening of the seals of the document occurs in Rev Ch 5–8 and marks the Second Coming of the Christ and the beginning of The Apocalypse/Revelation. Upon the Lamb of God/Lion of Judah opening a seal on the cover of the book/scroll, a judgment is released or an apocalyptic event occurs.
