Settlers Ridge
Settlers Ridge is an open-air lifestyle center in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania about halfway between Penn Center West and the Robinson Town Centre. The $100 million shopping complex opened for business on October 30, 2009, with phase two of the development currently under construction as of Spring 2011. It is owned by O'Connor/Real Vest Retail Holding Co. LLC of New York, with Boston-based Wilder Companies handling management and leasing at the shopping center. Planning and development In 2006, following the completion of the Ridge Road interchange off of the Parkway West (U.S. Route 22/30), developers CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. and Faison Enterprises, Inc., purchased about nearby from Robinson Park Associates to develop a new lifestyle center, which was to be called Settlers Ridge. Robinson Township is a township in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States approximately west of Pittsburgh. The population was 13,354 at the 2010 census. Geography Robinson Township is located at (40.458008, -80.128259). According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 1.21%, is water. Robinson is composed of at least four distinct regions that represent former communities that once existed within the township; Groveton (industrial area near the Ohio River), Forest Grove (the area around Forest Grove Elementary and Montour High School), Gayly (The area around Settlers Ridge Shopping Center and The Mall at Robinson), and Moon Run (also a part of Kennedy Township, and includes the areas near Burkett Park and Chartiers Country Club). A lifestyle center (American English), or lifestyle centre (Commonwealth English), is a shopping center or mixed-used commercial development that combines the traditional retail functions of a shopping mall with leisure amenities oriented towards upscale consumers. Robinson Town Centre
Robinson Town Centre is an expansive, open-air power center located near The Mall at Robinson in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania. Announced on June 28, 1987, and completed in 1988, it is situated nearly 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh along Interstate 376 (Parkway West) and Route 60. Robinson Town Centre spurred development of the shopping districts in the western hills of Allegheny County. The mall and town center serve as the main shopping district for residents of Pittsburgh's Airport Area. Parkway West
Interstate 376 (I-376) is a major auxiliary route of the Interstate Highway System in the US state of Pennsylvania, located within the Allegheny Plateau. It runs from I-80 near Sharon south and east to a junction with the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76, its parent) in Monroeville, after having crossed the Pennsylvania Turnpike at an interchange in Big Beaver. The route serves Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas and is the main access road to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).
