Setsuna Higashi
or ''Fresh PreCure!'', is a Japanese magical girl anime series and the sixth in the ''Pretty Cure'' metaseries by Izumi Todo, featuring the fourth generation of Cures. is a subgenre of Japanese fantasy media (including anime, manga, light novels, and live-action media) centered around young girls who possess magical abilities, which they typically use through an ideal alter ego into which they can transform. The series aired on TV Asahi between February 2007 and January 2008 and was followed by a sequel season, , which made up the franchise's fifth installment and aired between February 2008 and January 2009. Both series were directed by Toshiaki Komura and written by Yoshimi Narita. The character designs were done by Toshie Kawamura, who would go on to work on the character designs for ''Smile PreCure!'' and ''Hug! Pretty Cure''.
