Sethu Tom
Siphosethu Tom (born 12 February 1992) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the . He can play as a wing or at centre. Personal life Tom was born in Port Elizabeth to Kwenzekile Eric Tom and Nomamerika Yvonne Tom. His mother is from Gugulethu, Cape Town while his father is from Fort Beaufort, where the family has settled. Both of Tom's parents work at Tower Rehabilitation Hospital in Fort Beaufort. Rugby career Tom began his rugby career at primary school level. He attended Fort Beaufort Primary School, and was selected to represent Eastern Province at the 2005 Under-13 Craven Week tournament. He moved to Bloemfontein to continue his secondary education at Grey College, where he also continued to play rugby. Port Elizabeth
Gqeberha (), formerly Port Elizabeth and colloquially often referred to as P.E., is a major seaport and the most populous city in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is the seat of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa's second-largest metropolitan district by area size. The 2014 Vodacom Cup was played between 7 March and 16 May 2014 and was the 17th edition of this annual domestic cup competition. This edition of the Vodacom Cup was played between fourteen provincial rugby union teams in South Africa from the Currie Cup Premier and First Divisions, as well as the and from Kenya. Competition There were sixteen teams participating in the 2014 Vodacom Cup competition. These teams were geographically divided into two sections, with eight teams in each section. Teams played all the teams in their section once over the course of the season, either at home or away. Teams received four log points for a win and two points for a draw. The 2016 Varsity Shield was contested from 1 February to 18 April 2016. The tournament (also known as the ''FNB Varsity Shield presented by Steinhoff International'' for sponsorship reasons) was the sixth season of the Varsity Shield, an annual second-tier inter-university rugby union competition featuring five South African universities.
