Sestao Sport
Sestao Sport Club was a Spanish football club based in Sestao, in the autonomous community of Basque Country. Founded it 1916 it held home matches at ''Campo Municipal de las Llanas'', with a capacity of 8,900 seats. History Sestao managed to play 17 seasons in Segunda División, first staying seven seasons from 1954 but before the creation of Segunda División B, then from 1985 to 1993. After the 1995–96 campaign, its final in level two, Sestao, which had been relegated through play, suffered another drop off, and folded due to unsurmountable economic problems.Se ofrecen para salvar el club (Offers to save club)

Sestao is a town and municipality of 27,296 inhabitants located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. It is in the left bank of the Estuary of Bilbao and part of Bilbao's metropolitan area. Sestao was the place of the most important steel industry of Biscay, Altos Hornos de Vizcaya. 1987–88 Segunda División
The 1987–88 Segunda División season saw 20 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. CD Málaga, Elche CF and Real Oviedo were promoted to Primera División. Bilbao Athletic, Hércules CF, Granada CF and Cartagena FC were relegated to Segunda División B. This season, the league was expanded to 20 teams and the promotion playoff (''promoción'') returned. 1986–87 Segunda División
The 1986–87 Segunda División season saw 18 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. It was the longest season ever in Spanish football. The league was reduced to 18 teams and had two phases. In the first one all 18 teams played each other twice (home and away). At the end of the first phase, the first twelve teams qualified for promotion groups (Group A1 for teams that finished in an odd position and Group A2 for teams that finished in an even position) and last six qualified for relegation group (Group B). In the second phase, teams played only against teams of the same group twice (home and away) and carried their first phase record. Champions of promotion groups (Valencia CF and Celta de Vigo) and best second (CD Logroñés) were promoted to Primera División.
