Serres Racing Circuit ( gr, Αυτοκινητοδρόμιο Σερρών, Aftokinitodromio Serron) is a motor racing circuit in the City of Serres in Greece. The operator is "Serres Circuit S.A". The main shareholder is the Municipality of Serres owning the 76.5% of the shares. History It was built by the Municipality of Serres and started its operations in May 1998. It has 16 turns, 7 to the left and 9 to the right. Sérres ( el, Σέρρες ) is a city in Macedonia, Greece, capital of the Serres regional unit and second largest city in the region of Central Macedonia, after Thessaloniki. Serres is one of the administrative and economic centers of Northern Greece. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. Formula Three, also called Formula 3, abbreviated as F3, is a third-tier class of open-wheel formula racing. The various championships held in Europe, Australia, South America and Asia form an important step for many prospective Formula One drivers.
