Serra Kaleli
Serra Kaleli is a Turkish diplomat and former ambassador of Turkey. Kaleli was vice consul in West Berlin, Germany from 1987 to 1990. Her next post was Second Secretary at the diplomatic mission in Islamabad, Pakistan for two years until 1992. She worked as First Secretary in Kyiv, Ukraine between 1992 and 1994. After two years of service back in the Ministry, she was assigned in 1996 to Washington D.C., United States serving four years as counselor. Before she was appointed as a counselor to London, United Kingdom in 2005, Kaleli worked in the Ministry for another five years. Her husband, diplomat Bahadır Kaleli, and her one-and-half years old daughter accompanied her in London. Returned home in 2009, she worked three years in the Ministry. Star (Turkish Newspaper)
''Star'' (''Star Gazetesi'') was a high-circulation Turkish newspaper. It was established in 1999 by Star Media Group, drawing on the brand of the group's Star TV channel. At the end of 2019, the newspaper ceased its print publication, announcing it would continue news coverage online. In 2004 ''Star'' was seized by the Turkish government, along with the other assets of the Uzan Group (which owned the Star Media Group). Turkish Radio And Television Corporation
The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT; Turkish : ) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey. Before the introduction of commercial radio in 1990, and subsequently commercial television in 1992, it held a monopoly on broadcasting. More recent deregulation of the Turkish television broadcasting market produced analogue cable television. Today, TRT broadcasts around the world, especially in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia. ''Sabah'' is a Turkish daily newspaper, with a circulation of around 330,000 as of 2011. Its name means "morning" in Turkish. The newspaper was founded in İzmir by Dinç Bilgin on 22 April 1985. In 2007, the government of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan seized the newspaper, citing a legal document that had not been disclosed to authorities when ''Sabah'' was sold in 2001. Ownership of the newspaper was given to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey. Abdullah Gül
Abdullah Gül (; ; born 29 October 1950) is a Turkish politician who served as the 11th President of Turkey, in office from 2007 to 2014. He previously served for four months as Prime Minister from 2002 to 2003, and concurrently served as both Deputy Prime Minister and as Foreign Minister between 2003 and 2007. He is currently a member of the Advisory Panel for the President of the Islamic Development Bank.
