Sergius Golowin
Sergius Golowin (31 January 1930 in Prague, Czech Republic – 17 July 2006 in Bern, Switzerland) was a Bern writer, myths researcher, librarian, recording artist and publicist. Life Sergius Golowin was born in 1930 in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). In 1933, he and his mother, poet Alla von Steiger, emigrated to Switzerland, while Golowin’s Russian father, a sculptor, lived in Paris without the family. After finishing school, Golowin became a library assistant at the "Berner Stadt- und Universitätsbibliothek" (literally: "Bern City- and University-Library"). He took part in the "Jugendbewegung". During the 1950s he participated in "Tägel-Leist," one of Bern's subcultural discussion circles. From 1957 to 1968 Golowin worked as an archivist in Burgdorf. Wallenstein (band)
The band Wallenstein, founded in Viersen in Lower Rhineland, later based in Mönchengladbach, was a German rock band from 1971 to 1982, which was later associated with the Krautrock genre of the 1970s. History Wallenstein was founded in the summer of 1971 under the martial name of ''Blitzkrieg'' by the ambitious student of art (at the Art Academy Düsseldorf), , from Viersen. He had already been trained in classical music, playing the piano and the double bass, and he had played in skiffle as well as in jazz formations. Witthüser & Westrupp
Witthüser & Westrupp was a German singer-songwriter duo from Essen. The guitarist Bernd Witthüser (1944-2017) and the multi-instrumentalist Walter Westrupp (* 1946) had their roots in the folk and protest song movement, and their joint titles initially had macabre, later predominantly psychedelic elements. The band was formed in June 1969 as "''W&W's pop cabaret''", singing German texts in a special way. In 1970 the name changed to "Witthüser & Westrupp". Their music was attributed to the genre of psychedelic folk and later to krautrock. Their best-known album became the 1971 concept album ''Der Jesuspilz'', in which an undefined substance ("der Brösel") becomes a symbol of the divine. The duo existed from 1969 to 1973. Klaus Schulze
Klaus Schulze (4 August 1947 – 26 April 2022) was a German electronic music pioneer, composer and musician. He also used the alias Richard Wahnfried and was a member of the Krautrock bands Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, and The Cosmic Jokers before launching a solo career consisting of more than 60 albums released across six decades. Early life Schulze was born in Berlin in 1947. His father was a writer and his mother a ballet dancer. After graduating from high school, he delivered telegrams and studied German at the Technical University of Berlin. He and his wife Elfie had two sons, Maximilian and Richard. Martin Schippert
Martin "Tino" Schippert (1 May 1946 – 1981) was a Swiss "Halbstarker" (member of a youth subculture similar to Beatniks or Yobbo), Rocker, a so-called " 68er" and is considered to be founder of the Hells Angels in Switzerland. Schippert grew up in an upper-class environment, at the Zürichberg. He suffered from various illnesses. Because of his health, he had to live in the Kindererholungsheim Celerina, to recover. After finishing school, Schippert chose an apprenticeship as a Rhine sailor. In 1965, Schippert survived a grave motorcycle accident, but he passed what is referred to as the "Biker test": He wanted to ride a motorbike again, after all the pain he suffered. Urs Alfred "Polo" Hofer (16 March 1945 – 22 July 2017) was a Swiss rock musician. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of Swiss rock music and a ″national treasure″ of Switzerland.
