Sergio Dos Santos
Sergio dos Santos (born 1950) is a retired South African footballer who played as a midfielder for Hellenic, Cape Town Spurs and Kaizer Chiefs. He also managed Kaizer Chiefs for a spell in the mid-1990s. Early life He was born to Portuguese immigrants. He went to school at Brebner High School and Bloemfontein Commercial High. Career He joined the Greek Gods in 1968 and became their captain at the age of 22. He also went on to play for Cape Town Spurs and Kaizer Chiefs. He has coached Engen Santos, Orlando Pirates, Hellenic, Cape Town Spurs, Ikapa Sporting and Kaizer Chiefs in 1993. Post-retirement He has worked as a Customer Relations Manager at Metro Cash and Carry, an Operations Manager at his own retail clothing company, Choice Clothing, a Western Cape ambassador for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and currently a Managing Partner at Kwantu Solutions. Sérgio José Pombo Dos Santos (born 21 April 1981) is a South African politician who has served as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since 2019, representing the Democratic Alliance (South Africa), Democratic Alliance. Early life Dos Santos was born on 21 April 1981 in Johannesburg. He worked in human resources before he was elected to the city council of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. Political career He started his political career by working as the constituency operations manager of the Democratic Alliance (South Africa), Democratic Alliance from 2009 to 2011. Engen Santos
Santos Football Club or simply Santos, also officially known under their sponsored title as Engen Santos, is a South African professional soccer club based in the Lansdowne, a suburb of the city of Cape Town. It plays in the SAFA Second Division. History The club was established in Heideveld on the Cape Flats in 1982 and was originally known as Lightbodys Santos FC, after its sponsor. During apartheid, it was renowned for the insistence on non-racial inclusivity, hence its nickname "The People's Team". Western Cape
The Western Cape is a province of South Africa, situated on the south-western coast of the country. Orlando Pirates Football Club (often known as "The Buccaneers") is a South African professional football club based in the Houghton suburb of the city of Johannesburg and plays in the top-tier system of Football in South Africa known as DStv Premiership. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
