Sergio Blardony (born 13 July 1965), is a Spanish composer. He studied at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and, privately, with the Argentine composer Roberto J. Vittorio. Later, during four years, he was a disciple of José Luis de Delás in the Music School of the University of Alcalá de Henares. He also attended classes in composition and analysis with composers such as Helmut Lachenmann, Luis de Pablo, Javier Darias, Carmelo Bernaola, Enrico Fubini, Heinz-Klaus Metzger and Rainer Riehn. He has been awarded various prizes, such as the Spanish Authors Society (SGAE) Composition first prize, the International City of Tarragona Award for Musical Composition, or Joaquín Turina Prize. Vertixe Sonora Ensemble
Vertixe Sonora is a Spanish chamber ensemble founded in 2010 and specialized in contemporary classical music. It is an independent non-profit organisation functioning both as a platform which supports the creation and dissemination of New Music and as a music ensemble. Carlos Bonell
Carlos Antonio Bonell (born 23 July 1949) is an English classical guitarist of Spanish origin. He has been described by ''Classical Guitar'' magazine as "one of the great communicators of the guitar world". Career Born in London, Bonell started to play at the age of five, learning to play Spanish folk music on the guitar from his father who was a keen amateur guitarist, while also studying the violin more formally at school. He continued his studies at the Royal College of Music with John Williams, where upon completing his studies in 1972, he was appointed professor. In 1973, he won the Greater London Arts Association Young Musicians' Scheme award and as a consequence gave more than fifty concerts in the south-east of England between 1973 and 1974. '' Alexis Soriano is a Spanish- Lithuanian orchestral conductor and composer. A pupil of Ilya Musin, and later of Valery Gergiev, he has been Principal Associate Conductor of The Hermitage Orchestra for ten years and is Artistic Director of the "Spanish Evenings Festival" in Saint Petersburg. Arturo Tamayo Ballesteros (born 3 August 1946) is a Spanish conductor and music teacher. Life Tamayo studied music at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, while studying Law at the Complutense University of Madrid. He finally opted for music and finished his studies with an honorary prize in composition. He completed his training outside Spain in Basel with Pierre Boulez and in Vienna with Witold Rowicki. Rainer Riehn
Rainer Riehn (12 November 1941 – 9 June 2015) was a German composer and conductor, and a co-editor of music theory magazines. Riehn was born in Danzig, Germany (modern Gdańsk, Poland) studied music theory in Mainz, Zürich, and Berlin and composition with Gottfried Michael Koenig in Utrecht. He met the music theorist Heinz-Klaus Metzger at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse in the summer of 1965. In 1968 he founded the Ensemble Musica Negativa, in 1977 the series Musik-Konzepte, which he published until 2003 (together with Heinz-Klaus Metzger). In 1984 Metzger and Riehn received the Deutscher Kritikerpreis as editors of the Musik-Konzepte. Heinz-Klaus Metzger
Heinz-Klaus Metzger (6 February 1932 – 25 October 2009) was a German music critic and theorist. Born in Konstanz, Metzger studied piano under Carl Seemann in Freiburg im Breisgau and composition under Max Deutsch in Paris. Later, he met Theodor W. Adorno, Edgard Varèse, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Luigi Nono at the Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music. Here he found his role as a notable theoretician and proponent of serialism in musical theory. He participated as a distinguished contributor to a series of important texts in the journal ''Die Reihe''. Metzger was among the first critics to promote Stockhausen's music, but was soon a substantial critic of Stockhausen's compositional development.
