Sergio Andres Ferreyra
Sergio Andrés Ferreyra (born May 21, 1977) is an Argentine former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a multiple-time Argentine record holder, and a two-time medalist in the breaststroke (both 100 and 200 m) at the 2006 South American Games in Buenos Aires. He is also a member of Club Regatas Corrientes, and is coached and trained by Sergio Oscar Sainz. Ferreyra made his first Argentine team, as a 23-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, competing in two swimming events. In the 100 m breaststroke, Ferreyra rounded out the fifth heat to last place and fifty-third overall by less than 0.19 of a second behind Belarus' Aliaksandr Hukau in 1:05.75. He also placed eighteenth as a member of the Argentine team in the 4 × 100 m medley relay (3:43.61). José Meolans
José Martin Meolans (born June 22, 1978 in Córdoba) is a freestyle swimmer from Argentina, who won the world title in the 50 metre freestyle at the 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships in Moscow, Russia. A year later he won 100m freestyle at the 2003 Pan American Games. Meolans, a member of the swimming team at the Club Atlético River Plate, is trained by Orlando Moccagatta. He competed in three consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1996. In the 24th International Championship held on 2006 in Porto, Portugal, he won two gold medals in freestyle: 50 metres (23.14 sec) and 100 (50.66 sec). Alwin de Prins (born 29 October 1978) is a former competitive swimmer who represented Luxembourg. Born in Dendermonde, Belgium, he first represented Luxembourg in 1995 at the European Championships in Vienna. He swam in the 50 metre, 100 metre and 200 metre breaststroke and represented Luxembourg at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the Athens Olympics in 2004 and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. His trainers were Klaus Juergen Ohk and Ingolf Bender (federation coach).
