Sergey Obukhov
Sergey Gennadyevich Obukhov (russian: Серге́й Генна́дьевич Обухов; born June 29, 1974) is a Russian professional bandy player from Kirov, Kirov Oblast, Kirov, who in the 2018-19 season is captain for Dynamo Kazan Bandy Club, Dynamo-Kazan. He has scored more goals than any other Russian player. Obukhov has played many games for the Russian national bandy team and was top scorer at the 2005 Bandy World Championship, 2005 and 2007 Bandy World Championship (in 2005, Vyacheslav Bronnikov of Kazakhstan made an equal number of points, but Obukhov scored more goals than Bronnikov). Obukhov has been an important member of both club and country. Bandy World Cup
The Bandy World Cup is an international bandy competition played in Sweden at the beginning of the bandy season every year, in autumn. The participating teams qualify based on their results in the previous bandy season. The World Cup is not played by national teams but is for bandy clubs from around the world, and should therefore not be confused with the Bandy World Championship. It is usually considered to be "the world championship for clubs". The tournament has been dominated by Swedish and Russian teams.
