Serhiy Mykhalchuk ( uk, Сергій Михальчук; born 13 July 1972, in Lutsk) is a Ukrainian cinematographer. He graduated in 1994 from the Kyiv Theater Institute of Karpenko-Karyj. In addition to film work, Mykhalchuk has also produced documentaries and television feature films, music videos, and advertising features. Lutsk ( uk, Луцьк, translit=Lutsk}, ; pl, Łuck ; yi, לוצק, Lutzk) is a city on the Styr River in northwestern Ukraine. Serhii Bukovskyi (or Sergey Bukovsky) is a Soviet Ukrainian documentary film director and actor. Bukovskyi is a member of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Cinematographers and laureate of the Shevchenko National Prize. He was awarded the honorary title of Merited Artist of Ukraine in 1996 and the title People's Artist of Ukraine in 2008.
