Serendipity Gottlieb
Serendipity "Ren" Gottlieb is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Raelee Hill. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 August 1994. Serendipity was introduced as the sister of Stephen Gottlieb ( Lochie Daddo) and Mark Gottlieb (Bruce Samazan). She is a hippy who arrives in Erinsborough to see Mark. During her time in the show she becomes good friends with Sam Kratz (Richard Grieve) and Annalise Hartman (Kimberley Davies), is almost beaten up by her boyfriend, becomes a designer and gets engaged to Luke Handley (Bernard Curry). Hill quit the role in 1995 and her final scenes as Serendipity aired on 7 September 1995. Casting In 1994, Network Ten told ''TV Week'' that they would be introducing a "younger, livelier look with six regular characters under the age of 18". Raelee Hill
Raelee Hill (born 24 October 1972) is an Australian actress best known for portraying roles in some of Australia's most successful television series. Her first major role was as Loretta Taylor in ''Paradise Beach'', which was followed shortly afterwards by roles as Serendipity Gottlieb in ''Neighbours'' and Constable Tayler Johnson in '' Water Rats''. She is most widely known internationally for her part as Sikozu in the sci-fi television series ''Farscape''. She originally auditioned for the part of Mele-On Grayza, but the part ultimately went to Rebecca Riggs. The role of Sikozu was created especially for her by executive producer David Kemper at the time, because she had impressed them so much. She made her film début in the 1996 romantic comedy ''Hotel de Love'', and her theatre credits include the role of Wendy in '' Pan'' for The Jim Henson Company, as well as ''Tasting Sugar Lake'' for Budinskis Theatre. ''Blue Heelers'' is an Australian police drama series that was produced by Southern Star Group and ran for 12 years on the Seven Network, from 1994 to 2006. Although based around the policing of the town, the series generally depicted the everyday lives and relationships of the residents of Mount Thomas, a fictional small town in Victoria. Karl Kennedy
Karl Kennedy is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Alan Fletcher. The actor previously appeared in the soap in 1987 as mechanic Greg Cooper. He made his first screen appearance as Karl during the episode broadcast on 20 September 1994. Karl and his family were created by ''Neighbours'' storyliners in an attempt to bring the show back to its roots. Karl was given the job of local GP to give him immediate links with other characters. Martin Crewes is an Australian stage, television and movie actor. Early life Crewes was born in London. He moved to Australia when he was 10 years of age, and attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, in Perth, Western Australia. Since graduating, Crewes has taken part in many stage plays and musical productions, both in Australia and internationally, and has also appeared in various television and movie productions. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera created by Reg Watson. It was first broadcast on 18 March 1985. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the serial in 1994, by order of first appearance. Until 9 May, characters were introduced by the soap's executive producer, Alan Coleman.
