Serena Olanthe Reeder (born April 8, 1983) is an American theater, film, and television actor and screenwriter. Reeder was born in Washington, DC. She is best known for her roles in the films The Bucket List, Get Rich or Die Tryin', The Architect, The Brooklyn Heist, and Weapons. Early life and education Reeder was born and raised in Washington, DC. She attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC for theater. ''Bolden'' is a 2019 American drama film based on the life of cornetist Buddy Bolden (1877–1931). One of the seminal figures in jazz history, Bolden left no surviving recordings, having been committed in 1907 at age 30 to the Louisiana State Insane Asylum, where he spent the rest of his life after a diagnosis of acute alcoholic psychosis. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) is an eleven-day film festival held in Santa Barbara, California since 1986. The festival boasts screenings of over 200 feature films and shorts from different countries and regions. SBIFF also includes celebrity tributes, industry panels and education programs. History Over the years, SBIFF has invited numerous potential award-winning celebrities, including Cate Blanchett, Guillermo Del Toro, Laura Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Heath Ledger, Eddie Redmayne, Martin Scorsese, and Kate Winslet.
