Serdar Kurtuluş
Serdar Kurtuluş (born 23 July 1987) is a Turkish former footballer who played as a right back. Career Early years He started playing football in Bursaspor youth team. He made his first team debut on 28 August 2005 against Mardinspor, when he was 17 years old. He scored his only goal against İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor on 2 April 2006. Bursaspor won League A that season and promoted to Süper Lig. He was transferred from Bursaspor by Jean Tigana during his re-generation plan for team in 2006–2007 season at the age of 18. Beşiktaş paid Bursaspor $1,000,000 plus Sinan Kaloğlu and Eser Yağmur as exchange players for this transfer. He was playing as a right full-back in Bursaspor, but Jean Tigana tried to adapt him to play as a defensive midfielder as well. Yıldırım Demirören
Yıldırım Demirören (born 6 October 1964) is a Turkish businessman, former chair of the Istanbul-based Turkish multisports club Beşiktaş, and former president of the Turkish Football Federation. He owns part of ''Demirören Şirketler Grubu'' (''Demirören Group''), which was founded in 1964 and are focused on liquid gas distribution. Yıldırım Demirören resigned from his post as the president of Beşiktaş J.K. to be a candidate for the presidency of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). TFF First League
The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–2007 season, and was renamed to ''TFF First League'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1. The 2006 Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa 2006'') was a football match between 2005–06 Süper Lig champions Galatasaray, and the 2005–06 Turkish Cup winners Beşiktaş. The match was played in Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. 2008–09 Süper Lig
The 2008–09 Süper Lig (also known as ''Turkcell Super League'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the fifty-first season since its establishment. It began on 22 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Galatasaray were the defending champions. Beşiktaş clinched the championship after winning at Denizlispor on the last matchday. The latter barely avoided relegation after finishing in a three-way tie on points with Gençlerbirliği and Konyaspor. Head-to-head comparison between those three teams eventually resulted in the demotion of Konyaspor, who joined Kocaelispor and Hacettepe on their way to the second-level First League.
