Serbian White Eagles
Serbian White Eagles Football Club ( sr, Фудбалски клуб Српски бели орлови / ''Fudbalski klub Srpski beli orlovi'') is a Canadian soccer team. The team is a member of the Canadian Soccer League, an unsanctioned soccer league. The team's home kit is all white commemorating the white double-headed eagle which appears on the Serbian flag while the away colours are red-blue-white commemorating the tricolour of the Serbian flag. The colour white was also chosen as it symbolizes purity and innocence. The club also has teams in the Canadian Soccer League Reserve Division and the Ontario Soccer League. The club was established in 1968 under the name Hamilton Serbia and joined the professional ranks in 1970 by becoming a member in the National Soccer League, eventually relocating to Toronto and becoming the Serbian White Eagles. Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Hamilton has a population of 569,353, and its census metropolitan area, which includes Burlington and Grimsby, has a population of 785,184. Stevan Mojsilović (Serbian Cyrillic: Стеван Мојсиловић; born 5 December 1966) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career After being promoted from the Radnički Kovin youth academy at the age of 17, Mojsilović played for the senior squad from 1983 to 1991. Coaching career Mojsilović began his coaching career early. He started off as Radnički Kovin head coach in 1993 and remained in that position until 1995 when he became the Dinamo Pančevo youth academy director and led it from 1995 to 1996. He was then assistant coach of Obilić from 1996 to 1998 where he was assistant coach to Dragoslav Šekularac. He was assistant coach of Red Star Belgrade in the 2002–03 season. From 2004 to 2005 he was with Mladi Radnik in Požarevac and in 2006 he again collaborated with Šekularac, this time as assistant coach of the Serbian White Eagles of the Canadian Soccer League. 2006 Canadian Soccer League Season
The 2006 Canadian Soccer League season was the 9th season for the Canadian Soccer League. The season began on May 19, 2006, and concluded on October 15, 2006, with Italia Shooters defeating Serbian White Eagles, 1–0, at Esther Shiner Stadium to win their first CSL Championship. In the regular season Serbia clinched the International Division, and Oakville Blue Devils secured their first National Division title. The league was re-branded as the Canadian Soccer League, and renamed their two existing conferences into the International and National division. The changes brought about an increase in sponsorship, media coverage, and a 50% increase in attendance. The CSL also received greater autonomy from the Ontario Soccer Association. The league struck an agreement with the Toronto Community News which provided coverage for the league and its member clubs through their nine community newspapers. A bench-clearing brawl is a form of fighting that occurs in sports, most notably baseball and ice hockey, in which most or all players on both teams leave their dugouts, bullpens, or benches, and charge onto the playing area in order to fight one another or try to break up a fight. The 1975 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 11th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup.
