Serbia In The Eurovision Song Contest 2016
Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Goodbye (Shelter)" written by Ivana Peters. The song was performed by Sanja Vučić Zaa, who was internally selected by the Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) to represent Serbia in the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Sanja Vučić
Sanja Vučić ( sr-Cyrl, Сања Вучић, ) is a Serbian singer and songwriter. Initially the lead vocalist of the Serbian crossover band ZAA, she Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Goodbye". From 2017 to 2022 she was a member of pop folk girl group Hurricane (Serbian band), Hurricane, during which time they represented Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, Eurovision Song Contests 2020 and Eurovision Song Contest 2021, 2021 with the songs "Hasta la vista (Hurricane song), Hasta la vista" and "Loco Loco". Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Čaroban" written by Kristina Kovač. The song was performed by Nina. The Serbian national broadcaster, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) organised the national final ''Pesma za Evropu - Diseldorf 2011'' in order to select the Serbian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Kornelije Kovač and his two daughters Aleksandra Kovač and Kristina Kovač were selected to each compose a song for the national final on 26 February 2011, which resulted in "Čaroban" performed by Nina as the winner entirely by a public televote. Negative ( sr, Негатив, Negativ) is a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1999. Fronted by vocalist Ivana Peters (née Pavlović), the band enjoyed large popularity and was one of the most notable acts of the Serbian rock scene during the 2000s. History 1999-2015 Negative was formed in the spring of 1999, during the NATO bombing of FR Yugoslavia, by Ivana Pavlović (vocals), Nikola Radaković (guitar), Vladimir "Grle" Đurđević (guitar), Milen Zlatanović (bass guitar) and Miloš Bilanović (drums). Košutnjak ( sr-cyr, Кошутњак, ) is a park-forest and urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is divided between in the municipalities of Čukarica (upper and central parts) and Rakovica (lower part). With the adjoining Topčider, it is colloquially styled "Belgrade's oxygen factory". 2013 Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Euphoria" by Loreen. Moje 3 ( sr-cyr, Моје 3; English: ''My 3'') was a Serbian girl group consisting of Mirna Radulović, Nevena Božović and Sara Jovanović. They represented Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "Ljubav je svuda". The group performed on the first semi-final and failed to qualify for the final of the contest. After Eurovision, the group disbanded for its members to resume their solo careers. Željko Joksimović
Željko Joksimović ( sr-Cyrl, Жељко Јоксимовић, ; born 20 April 1972) is a Serbian vocalist, composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He plays 12 different musical instruments including accordion, piano, guitar and drums. Joksimović is multi-lingual, being fluent in Greek, English, Russian, Polish and French as well as his native Serbian.
