Seonaid McIntosh
Seonaid McIntosh (born 15 March 1996) is a British sports shooter who became the World Champion at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the 50m Prone Rifle event. In 2019 she became Britain's most successful female rifle shooter of all time, winning three World Cup medals (including the first World Cup Gold to be won by a British Woman). She also became the first British Woman to rank World #1 for the 50m Rifle Three Position event and became European Champion in the 300m Rifle Prone event with an equal World Record score. McIntosh is the daughter of four-times Commonwealth Games medallist Shirley McIntosh and sport shooter Donald McIntosh. She is the younger sister of British Olympian Jennifer McIntosh. In 2017 she won the Women's 3x20 Rifle event at the 2017 European Shooting Championships in Baku, becoming European Champion. ISSF 300 Meter Rifle Prone
300 m rifle prone (formerly known as one of four free rifle disciplines) is an ISSF shooting event. It was added to the World Championship program in 1982, and was based on the English Match but shot with the same full-power rifle as in 300 metre rifle three positions. The course of fire, like in the small-bore 50 metre rifle prone, is 60 shots for both men and women. 300 m rifle has been a declining event for many decades because of the considerable cost for competing in the event and the difficulty of creating ranges for it. 300 metre Rifle is still on the World and regional championships program, though. Jennifer McIntosh (born 17 June 1991) is a Scottish Olympic sports shooter and fantasy author. McIntosh is the daughter of four-times Commonwealth Games medalist Shirley McIntosh and Donald McIntosh, and the elder sister of British Olympic shooter Seonaid McIntosh. Shooting career McIntosh won two golds and a bronze in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, making her the most successful female athlete with Team Scotland. Donald McIntosh (sport Shooter)
Donald McIntosh is a Scottish rifle shooter and coach from Elgin, born July 1966. He represented Scotland for the first time in 1989 at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships in Wales. He has been capped 60 times, making him the seventh most capped Scottish shooter. He represented Scotland in the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games where he was unable to replicate his previous gold medal success in the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships. Donald began his international coaching career at the 2003 World University Shooting Championships and continues to coach his younger daughter Seonaid McIntosh and coached his older daughter Jennifer McIntosh until her retirement in 2018. Shirley McIntosh MBE (born 8 July 1965) is a retired Scottish sports shooter. Career McIntosh won a Gold and a Silver in the 1994 Commonwealth Games. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games she won Bronze in the Women's 50 metre rifle three position pairs and Bronze in the 50m rifle prone pairs, making her the second Scottish Woman to win four Commonwealth Games medals.
