Semioptila Marshalli
''Semioptila marshalli'' is a moth in the Himantopteridae family. It was described by Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild, Walter Rothschild in 1907. It is found in South Africa and Zimbabwe. The body is pale yellow and the antenna, frons, breast, legs and a stripe on the underside of the abdomen are blackish. The forewings are pale yellow from the base beyond the apex of the cell, the yellow scaling diffuse distally, reaching posteriorly to the outer edge of the wing, the veins being blackish. Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild
Lionel Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild, Baron de Rothschild, (8 February 1868 – 27 August 1937) was a British banker, politician, zoologist and soldier, who was a member of the Rothschild family. As a Zionist leader, he was presented with the Balfour Declaration, which pledged British support for a Jewish national home in Palestine.
