Selina Wang
Selina Y. Wang (born May 8, 1993) is an American television journalist and reporter, who has served as senior White House Correspondent for ABC News since August 2023. She was previously CNN's international correspondent based in Beijing and Tokyo. She has also worked for Bloomberg News as an anchor, correspondent, reporter and magazine writer. In 2023, she was nominated at the 44th News and Documentary Emmy Awards, and was featured the ''Forbes'' 30 Under 30 Asia List. Early life Wang was born in Richland, Washington, before attending Barrington High School in Barrington, Rhode Island where she was an accomplished flautist and named Miss Rhode Island's Outstanding Teen. Barrington High School (formerly known as West Barrington Senior High School) is a public high school located in Barrington, a town in Bristol County, Rhode Island. The Harvard Crimson are the intercollegiate athletic teams of Harvard College. The school's teams compete in NCAA Division I. Miss America's Outstanding Teen is an American scholarship pageant. It is the sister program to the Miss America Organization, and it aims to "promote scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America's teens." In order to be eligible to compete, participants must first compete and win at the local level and then win the state title.
