Selin Sivrikaya
Selin Sivrikaya (born January 1, 1997) is a Turkish women's football midfielder currently playing in the First League for Kireçburnu Spor with jersey number 7. She was a member of the Turkey women's U-19 team. Early life Selin Sivrikaya was born to Bekir Sivrikaya and his wife Hülya in Akhisar town of Manisa Province on January 1, 1997. She was schooled in her hometown, and graduated from Akhisar Zeynep Gülin Öngör Vocational High School for Girls. During her high school years, she played futsal and helped to her school team's achievement as becoming the champion of Manisa Province League and of the regional league. Career Club She obtained her license on March 9, 2012, for Karşıyaka BESEM Spor in İzmir, which competed in the Turkish Women's Second League. 1207 Antalya Spor, a.k.a. 1207 Antalyaspor, is a women's football team based in Antalya playing in the Turkish Women's First Football League. Current chairman of the club is Süleyman Türk. History The women's team was founded as Antalya Yeni Kapıspor in 2006, and started to play in the Women's League. From 2007 until 2012, the team was part of Antalyaspor while they played in the 2011–12 season under the name Medical Park Antalyaspor in line with their sponsor. After three seasons in Women's First League, the team was relegated to the Women's Second League for the 2012–13 season. As a result, Antalyaspor's club management decided to close the women's football branch. The Turkish Women's Second Football League ( tr, Kadınlar 2. Futbol Ligi) is the third tier league competition for women's association football in Turkey. Format Teams promoted to Women's First League Format As of 2021-22 Season, 26 teams compete for promoting to 1st League. They were divided into four groups according to their geographical location. In each group, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The group winners and runners-up promote to 1st League,third teams in groups advance to the promotion play-offs. The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT; Turkish : ) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey.
