"Selecta" is a song by Grammy Award-winning Dutch music producers and DJs Afrojack and Quintino. The single was released digitally on July 6, 2011 in the Netherlands. The song was included on the Cream, Pacha, Gatecrasher and Ministry of Sound compilation known as Superclub A superclub is a very large or superior nightclub, often with several rooms with different themes. In 2007, he founded the record label Wall Recordings; his debut album '' Forget the World'' was released in 2014. Cream (nightclub)
Cream is a nightclub that originally began as a weekly house music night at the now-demolished Nation nightclub in Liverpool. It ran in this format from October 1992 to June 2002. Cream also hosts the dance music festival Creamfields every August in Daresbury, Cheshire. Creamfields has won the award for Best Dance Event at the UK Festival Awards a record six times since the awards began 10 years ago, most recently in December 2014. In 2010, they also won the Music Week award for "Festival of the Year". In 2012, Live Nation acquired the Cream brand. Cream's home in Wolstenholme Square, Liverpool was demolished in 2016 as part of an urban regeneration project. Plans to build a new home for the nightclub as part of the development were retrospectively removed from the planning application. A superclub is a very large or superior nightclub, often with several rooms with different themes. The term was first coined in Mixmag, the British electronic dance and clubbing magazine, in 1995, referring to the new wave of clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Cream, which were dominating the English club scene. Superclubs may include nightclubs that have high capacity, or are multi-story, high profile, and operate city and region wide or are well known. Gatecrasher Club
Gatecrasher is an international clubbing brand made famous by the "Gatecrasher" (later "Crasher") dance music events, which were held at the Republic nightclub in Sheffield, UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The promoters of the brand were Simon Raine and Simon Oates and, until 2004, Scott Bond. By August 2014, the only Gatecrasher venue remaining was located in the United Kingdom city of Birmingham. Quinten van den Berg (; born ), known professionally as Quintino, is a Dutch DJ and record producer. Notable releases include a remix of "Rap das Armas", "Selecta", "Go Hard" and "Fatality". In 2019 he was named No. 25 in the Top 100 DJs list put out by ''DJ Magazine''. Music career At the age of 18, Quintino was discovered by Dutch DJ Laidback Luke, who assisted him developing a career.
