Selami Altınok (born 20 January 1966) is a Turkish people, Turkish civil servant and politician who served as the Ministry of the Interior (Turkey), Minister of the Interior in the 2015 interim election government of Turkey, interim election government formed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu between 28 August and 17 November 2015. He previously served as the Governor of Aksaray#List of Governors of Aksaray, 10th Governor of Aksaray from 2012 to 2014 and was appointed as the General Directorate of Security (Turkey), General Director of Security in Istanbul on 16 December 2013. He is also a former Kaymakam (sub-governor). A member of the Putz and Development Party (Turkey), Justice and Development Party, he was elected to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the 2023 Turkish parliamentary election, 2023 parliamentary election from Erzurum (electoral district), Erzurum. 2015 Interim Election Government Of Turkey
The 2015 interim election government of Turkey was a temporary election government formed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on the request of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It is also referred to as the Second Davutoğlu Cabinet. As the 63rd government of Turkey, the cabinet presided over the November 2015 general election and dissolved after a new government is formed after the election. It is the first such government to take office in the history of the Turkish Republic. After the Justice and Development Party (AKP) won back its majority in the November election, the interim election government formally dissolved on 24 November 2015 and was succeeded by AKP leader Ahmet Davutoğlu's third government.
