The 2021–22 Liga II (also known as 2021–22 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 82nd season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the sixth Liga II season with a single series. In the regular season each team played every other team once, then followed a promotion play-off and a relegation play-out. The first two teams promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed and fifth-placed team played a play-off match against the 13th-placed and 14th-placed team from Liga I. The season started on 14 July 2023 and will end in 2 June 2024. It is the ninth season to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. The season started on 15 July 2021 and is scheduled to end in May 2022. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. Klubi 04 is a Finland, Finnish football (soccer), football club based in Helsinki. It is the reserve team of Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi for whom a number of the players are also registered. History Klubi 04 was founded in 2004 when HJK bought FC Jokerit. Initially Klubi 04 played in Kakkonen, the third highest league level in Finland. Klubi 04 was promoted to Ykkönen in 2006 when it beat FC Inter Turku, FC Inter's reserve team VG-62. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. 2019 Veikkausliiga
The 2019 Veikkausliiga was the 89th season of top-tier football in Finland. Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi were the defending champions. New league format Veikkausliiga adopted a new league format for the 2019 season. Each team played against each other twice in the regular season. After the regular season the top six teams advanced to the Championship Series which determines the champion and European tournament qualification places. The bottom six teams advanced to the Challenger Series. The best team from the Challenger Series plays in a tournament against the Championship Series' 4th, 5th, and 6th place teams. The winner from that plays in a final series against the 3rd best team from the Championship Series. The last UEFA Europa League qualification place goes to the winner of that final series.
