Season six of ''Seinfeld'', an American comedy television series created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, began airing on September 22, 1994, and concluded on May 18, 1995, on NBC. Season six placed first in the Nielsen ratings, above ''Home Improvement (TV series), Home Improvement'' and ''ER (TV series), ER''. Production ''Seinfeld'' was produced by Castle Rock Entertainment and aired on NBC in the United States. The executive producers were Larry David, George Shapiro, and Howard West with Tom Gammill and Max Pross as supervising producers. Bruce Kirschbaum was the executive consultant, after being a staff writer in the previous season. This season was directed by Andy Ackerman, replacing Tom Cherones, who had directed the majority of the episodes of the previous five seasons following the original pilot episode. Season five of ''Seinfeld'', an American comedy television series created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, began airing on September 16, 1993, and concluded on May 19, 1994, on NBC. This marked the first season ''Seinfeld'' occupied the 9 PM Must See TV#NBC Thursday night lineup history, Thursday prime-time slot, following the end of the run by ''Cheers'' in this time slot the previous season. Production ''Seinfeld'' was produced by Castle Rock Entertainment and aired on NBC in the United States. The Comeback (Seinfeld)
"The Comeback" is the 147th episode of the NBC sitcom '' Seinfeld''. This was the thirteenth episode of the eighth season, originally airing on January 30, 1997. The episode was written by Gregg Kavet & Andy Robin and was directed by David Owen Trainor. In the episode, George Costanza goes to great lengths to deliver a retort (the eponymous comeback) to a coworker that he thought of too late to deliver on the spot (a phenomenon described by the French expression ''l'esprit de l'escalier''). Miss Rhode Island
The Miss Rhode Island competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Rhode Island in the Miss America pageant. Abby Mansolillo of Providence was crowned Miss Rhode Island 2022 on May 1st, 2022 at the McVinney Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island. She competed for the title of Miss America 2023 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut in December 2022. "The Chaperone" is the 87th episode of NBC sitcom ''Seinfeld''. This was the first episode for the sixth season. It aired on September 22, 1994. This is the first episode to be directed by Andy Ackerman. In this episode Jerry's efforts to date Miss Rhode Island of the Miss America competition are frustrated by Kramer's insinuating himself as her personal coach, and Elaine takes a job as Justin Pitt's personal assistant. Plot Responding to player complaints that they feel hot in their uniforms, George convinces Yankees manager Buck Showalter to replace polyester with cotton as the material for the team's uniforms.
