Trygve Seim
Trygve Seim (born 25 April 1971) is a Norwegian jazz musician (saxophone) and composer. He started to play the saxophone in 1985 after hearing Jan Garbarek's CD ''Eventyr''. Career Seim was born in Oslo. He studied music at Foss videregående skole (1987–90) and attended the Jazz program at the Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (1990–92), where he completed studies in jazz saxophone. Further more Seim studied composition with Terje Bjørklund, Bertil Palmar Johansen, Edward Vesala and Bjørn Kruse. In 1991, he and fellow student, the pianist Christian Wallumrød founded the group Airamero in 1991, including bassist Johannes Eick and drummer Per Oddvar Johansen. The band released the album ''Airamero'' in 1994. It also undertook several concert tours in Scandinavia and Germany. Seimas
The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania ( lt, Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas), or simply the Seimas (), is the unicameral parliament of Lithuania. The Seimas constitutes the legislative branch of government in Lithuania, enacting laws and amendments to the Constitution, passing the budget, confirming the Prime Minister and the Government and controlling their activities. Its 141 members are elected for a four-year term, with 71 elected in individual constituencies, and 70 elected in a nationwide vote based on open list proportional representation. A party must receive at least 5%, and a multi-party union at least 7%, of the national vote to qualify for the proportional representation seats. The Saeima () is the parliament of the Latvia, Republic of Latvia. It is a unicameral parliament consisting of 100 members who are elected by proportional representation, with seats allocated to political parties which gain at least 5% of the popular vote. Elections are scheduled to be held once every four years, normally on the first Saturday of October. The most recent elections were held in 2022 Latvian parliamentary election, October 2022. Turid Karlsen Seim (8 October 1945 – 3 November 2016) was a Norwegian doctor of theology. from 1991 until her death, the professor of New Testament theology at the University of Oslo. Biography Seim was born at Bergen, Norway. Seim was a cand.theol. from the Faculty of Theology, University of Oslo, in 1970. She taught religion at Volda gymnasium, was a research fellow from the Norwegian Public Science Research Council 1979 to 1981 and research assistant at the Faculty of Theology, University of Oslo from 1982. Seim, Vestland
Seim is a village in Alver municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located at the innermost part of the Lurefjorden, about north of the village of Knarvik and about southeast of the island of Lygra. The village is home to Seim Church (''Seim kyrkje'') which was built in 1878, and a primary school. The village has a population (2016) of 417 which gives the village a population density of . History Harald Fairhair had his royal estates in and around the village of Seim. According to tradition, his son King Håkon the Good is buried at Håkonhaugen in Seim (''Håkonshaugen på Seim''). Since 1997, Seim has been a sight of the Håkonarspelet summer festivals which includes performances of the historical drama ''Kongen med Gullhjelmen''.
