Sonny Seiler
Frank W. Seiler (born February 20, 1933) is a retired trial attorney from Savannah, Georgia, who had a leading role in the true-crime book ''Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil''. He is also the owner of the University of Georgia Bulldogs live mascots Uga, a series of successively numbered English bulldogs. Early life Seiler graduated in 1950 from the Porter Military Academy, now the Porter-Gaud School, in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Georgia (1956 and 1958), where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and the Gridiron Secret Society and a founder of the Order of the Greek Horsemen. Career Seiler practiced law in Savannah, where he was a senior partner at Bouhan Falligant LLP. In 1973 he served as president of the State Bar of Georgia. Reinhard Seiler (30 August 1909 – 6 October 1989) was a Spanish Civil War and World War II Luftwaffe Major and ace, commander of Jagdgeschwader 104 and a winner of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves of Nazi Germany; for the fighter pilots, it was a quantifiable measure of skill and combat success. Reinhard Seiler was credited with 100 victories during World War II, over the course of about 500 combat missions. He recorded an additional 9 victories during the Spanish Civil War. Childhood and early career Seiler was born on 30 August 1909 in Rawitsch, in the Province of Posen, at the time a Prussian province of the German Empire and now in Poland. Kerim Seiler (born 1974 in Bern) is a Swiss artist. Education Seiler began his studies in 1991 by completing a pre-course for the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich. Between 1993 and '95 he completed the degree course "Média Mixtes" at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Visuel Genève. From 1997 to 2002, under the tutelage of Prof. Bernhard Johannes Blume, he continued his education at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg. In 2011 he was awarded a Master of Advanced Studies degree in Architecture at ETH Zürich. Jack Seiler
John P. Seiler (born May 27, 1963) is an American politician and 41st Mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to this he was a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, from 2000 to 2008 representing District 92 which is located in Broward County, Florida. Political career Wilton Manors Seiler moved to Wilton Manors, Florida, around 1988. Seiler served as city council member and then vice mayor of Wilton Manors from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, Seiler was elected mayor of Wilton Manors, defeating incumbent King Wilkinson who had been accused of making homophobic comments. Fort Lauderdale Seiler was a candidate to succeed term-limited Jim Naugle in the 2009 mayoral election for Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Paul Seiler
Paul Herman Seiler (November 1, 1945 – September 25, 2001) was an American football offensive lineman who played in the American and National Football Leagues for the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders. Born in Algona, Iowa, Seiler played college football at the University of Notre Dame and was a member of the school's 1966 team that won the national championship. After playing for a combined 59 minutes in 1964 and 1965 as a backup, he was Notre Dame's starting right tackle in 1966, his senior year. In the 1967 NFL Draft, the Jets selected him with the 12th overall pick. Seiler played in two games for the Jets in the 1967 AFL season, but a leg injury led the Jets to put him on a "waived injured list".
