Oliver Seibert
Oliver Levi Seibert (March 18, 1881 – May 15, 1944) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Seibert was one of the first players to turn professional in 1904. Seibert is the father of Earl Seibert who played professionally in the National Hockey League. Personal Oliver Seibert was born in 1881 in Berlin, Ontario to Franklin and Sarah (née Bedford) Seibert. He was the second of fourteen children. Seibert married Emma Fuhrman on November 6, 1901. They had six children: May, Roy, Vera, Earl, Ruth and Doris. Michael Seibert (born January 1, 1960) is an American figure skating choreographer and former competitive ice dancer. With Judy Blumberg, he is a three-time World bronze medalist (1983–85), the 1980 Skate Canada International champion, the 1981 Skate America champion, and a five-time U.S. national champion (1981–85). They also competed at two Winter Olympics. In 2003, Seibert was one of the winners of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography. Pete Seibert
Peter Werner Seibert (August 7, 1924 – July 15, 2002) was an American skier and the founder of Vail Ski Resort in Colorado. He was inducted into the Colorado Ski (and Snowboard) Hall of Fame in 1980. A Massachusetts native, Seibert graduated from the New Hampton School in New Hampshire and served in the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army during World War II, training as an elite ski trooper at Camp Hale in Colorado. Wounded in the leg by a mortar shell blast in the Battle of Riva Ridge in Italy in February 1945, he returned to the United States to begin recuperation. Like other ski soldiers who had trained at Camp Hale, Seibert returned to Colorado, where he became a ski patrolman at the Aspen Mountain. Walter Earl Seibert (December 7, 1910 – May 12, 1990) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman (ice hockey), defenceman who played for 15 seasons for the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings between 1931 and 1946. Lloyd Seibert
Lloyd Martin Seibert (May 23, 1889–October 15, 1972) was a Medal of Honor recipient who was awarded the decoration for his valor in the United States Army during World War I. Biography Seibert first enlisted in the California National Guard's 7th Infantry in January 1906. After WWI, he continued to serve on active duty in the U.S. Army. On 26 August 1937, Master Sergeant Seibert was appointed to the rank of Warrant Officer while assigned to the 1st Cavalry (Mechanized) at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He would later rise to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer - the rank he held upon retirement from the U.S. Army on 30 June 1944. Seibert died in 1972 and is buried at San Francisco National Cemetery.
