Los Ángeles Azules
Los Ángeles Azules are a Mexican musical group that plays the ''cumbia sonidera'' genre, which is a cumbia subgenre using the accordion and synthesizers. This results in a fusion of the sounds of cumbia from the 1950-1970s with those of 1990s-style electronic music. History The group got together in 1976, but started officially in 1980. It was formed by the siblings of the Mejía Avante family: Elías, Alfredo, José Hilario, Jorge, Cristina and Guadalupe. The group went through various periods of popularity and various styles. Zoé is a Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winning Mexican rock band. It was initially formed in Mexico City in 1994, although membership started to stabilize in 1997. Yuridia Francisca Gaxiola Flores, commonly known as Yuridia, (born October 4, 1986) is a Mexican singer. She came in second place in the fourth season of the reality show ''La Academia'', which launched her career. In 2005, Yuridia released her debut album ''La Voz de un Ángel''. It became the second best-selling album in 2006 and one of the fastest-selling albums of all time in Mexico. It has been certified Diamond since its release. Her second album, ''Habla El Corazón'' was certified Platinum in Mexico after a few weeks of release. ''Entre Mariposas'', Yuridia's third album with original songs, was released in late 2007. Yahir
Yahir Othón Parra (born 21 March 1979), simply known as Yahir, is a Mexican singer and actor from Hermosillo, Sonora. He began his career as one of the participants in the music reality show ''La Academia'' in 2002 and in addition to Yuridia, also from Hermosillo, is one of the most popular stars to come from the show. He became a judge of the show's tenth season. Personal life Yahir's mother converted from Roman Catholicism to Jehovah's Witnesses, and although he was brought up in his mother's faith he no longer practices it. He says that despite their differing beliefs his mother is now one of his biggest fans. Ximena Sariñana Rivera (; born October 29, 1985) is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress. In 2009, she received critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for her debut album, '' Mediocre''. Early life Ximena Sariñana was born in Guadalajara, Mexico to producer/director Fernando Sariñana and screenwriter Carolina Rivera and was raised in Mexico City. When she was two years old, Sariñana attended an Ella Fitzgerald concert, claiming this to be the beginning of her interest in music and one of her biggest influences. Río Roma are a Mexican Latin pop duo. It consists of brothers José Luis Ortega Castro (born January 17, 1981) and Raúl Ortega Castro (born July 17, 1984). José Luis is also a prolific songwriter. Morat (band)
Morat is a Colombian band formed in the country's capital city, Bogotá. The band is formed by Juan Pablo Isaza (guitars and vocals), Juan Pablo Villamil (banjo and vocals) and the brothers Simón Vargas (bass and choruses) and Martín Vargas (percussion and choirs). Previously, until the end of 2016, drummer Alejandro Posada had been in the band. However, the percussionist had to leave the project, being subsequently replaced by Martín Vargas. Mœnia
Mœnia is a Mexican electronic/synthpop/ ambient group. Popular within the Latin club scene while simultaneously pioneering a darker, more experimental, more poetic side of Spanish-language electronica, Mœnia has had three top-20 hits.
