The club was founded in 2013 and its playing venue is Pedro Delgado with capacity of 2,800 seaters. History Segovia Futsal was founded in 2013 after the demise of historical club Caja Segovia. It started playing in Segunda División after being invited by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Four years later, the club achieves the promotion to Primera División. The Primera División or División de Honor of the LNFS, Liga Nacional de Fútbol Sala, is the premier professional futsal league in Spain. It was founded in 1989 with the name of División de Honor. Futsal Clubs In Castile And León
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. Caja Segovia Fútbol Sala, was a futsal club based in Segovia, city of the Province of Segovia in the autonomous community of Castile and León. The club was founded in 1985 and held its home matches in Pedro Delgado with capacity of 2,800 seaters. History In July 2013, after 24 seasons in top league of Spanish futsal, and after failing to pay the enrolment fee to play in Primera División 2013–14, were relegated to Segunda División changing its official name to CD La Escuela.
