Seetharamu
''Seetharamu'' is a 1979 Indian Kannada-language film directed by V. Somashekhar. The film stars Shankar Nag, Manjula and Thoogudeepa Srinivas. The film is based on a science fiction plot of a brain transplant. The movie was remade in Telugu as ''Seethe Ramudaithe'', starring Shankar Nag in his Telugu debut, and in Hindi in 1995 as '' Diya Aur Toofan''. The song ''Ee Roopave Nannee Baalina'' was earlier used by Chellapilla Satyam for the 1978 Telugu movie '' Annadammula Savaal'', which incidentally was a remake of the 1977 Kannada movie ''Sahodarara Savaal''. Manjula (Kannada Actress)
Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in Kannada language films and also few Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films. She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films in 1970s and 1980s. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards for her performances, including a Filmfare Award. Personal life Manjula was born to M. H. Shankar Nag
Shankar Nagarakatte (9 November 1954 – 30 September 1990) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work in Kannada-language films and television. A popular cultural icon of Karnataka, Nag is often referred to as ''Karate King.'' He directed and acted in the teleserial, '' Malgudi Days'', based on novelist R. K. Narayan's short stories. ''Diya Aur Toofan'' () is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by K. Bapaiah, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Madhoo, Suresh Oberoi, Mohnish Bahl and Kader Khan.
