Seethakoka Chiluka (1981 Film)
''Seethakoka Chilaka'' () is a 1981 Indian Telugu-language romance film directed by Bharathiraja. The film was produced by Edida Nageswara Raa on Poornodaya Movie Creations banner and was simultaneously shot alongside its Tamil version titled ''Alaigal Oivathillai''. Murali (credited as Karthik in Tamil) played the lead role in both versions of the film, making his career debut in both the language versions simultaneously. Mucherla Aruna plays the female lead, while Radha played the same character in the Tamil version. Aruna and Radha made their acting debuts in each of the versions of the film. The film was retrospectively featured in the ''Indian Panorama'' section of the 9th International Film Festival of India, 1983. The film won five Nandi Awards. Bharathiraja
Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is an Indian film director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Making his debut in 1977 with '' 16 Vayathinile'', he is known for realistic and sensitive portrayals of rural life in his films. As of 2017, he has won six National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Award. He has also directed films in Telugu and Hindi. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2004 for his contribution to the film industry. Edida Nageswara Rao
Edida Nageswara Rao (24 April 1934 – 4 October 2015) was an Indian film producer in Telugu cinema. He owned the film production house Poornodaya Movie Creations in Tollywood. He produced '' Sankarabharanam'', ''Swayam Krushi'', ''Siri Siri Muvva'' and '' Swati Mutyam'', which were showcased at the Moscow Film Festival. He won five Nandi Awards. Career Rao produced films with a classical and realistic touch, in the 1970s and 1980s. Almost all of the films he produced went on to win National Film Awards. He was born to Sattiraju Naidu, in a Telugu Naidu family. Some of his most memorable films, in Telugu cinema, are his collaborations with K. Viswanath, Bharathiraja, and Vamsy. The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. It is one of several awards presented for feature films and awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus). The National Film Awards, established in 1954, are the most prominent film awards in India that merit the best of the Indian cinema. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs.
