Seeta Maryam Margaret
''Seeta Maryam Margaret'' is a 1978 Pakistani Urdu-language film directed by Hassan Tariq. It is written by Agha Hassan Imtisal with music composed by A. Hameed. It features Rani in the titular roles with Muhammad Ali, Talish, Nayyar Sultana, Qavi and Deeba in prominent roles with Shahid in a special appearance. It was among the last films of Nayyar Sultana. Plot Safia abandons her new born twin baby girls on the road and attempts suicide in the river. Her daughters are taken away by two passerby; a Hindu man with no children — Bhagwan Daas and a Christian club owner — Mr. Nameless. Bhagwan Daas brings up the baby girl with his wife Lajwanti who loves her like her own child. They raise her according to the teachings of their religion and named her Seeta. At the age of 7–8, Seeta is found by her mother who then takes him away and raises her according to her religion, Islam. Hassan Tariq (22 October 1934 – 24 April 1982) was a Pakistani film director, film producer and screenwriter who was famous for making films like Anjuman, Kaneez, Baharo Phool Barsao, ''Dewar Bhabhi''. Early life and career Hassan was born on 22 October 1934 in Amritsar, India. He migrated to Pakistan after its establishment. He started his career as an assistant director. He directed his first film, ''Neend'' (Sleep) in 1959 and became a successful director. He made around 40 films in Pakistan film industry and was the main reason behind the success of his wife Rani. Abdul Latif Baloch, better known by his screen name Saqi (2 April 1925 – 22 December 1986), was a Pakistani film and television actor. He is known for mostly playing supportive roles in Lollywood movies. He starred in more than 500 Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Pashto films. Early life and family Saqi was born on April 2, 1925, in Baghdad, Iraq, where his father had been appointed during the first world war and later stayed there for a while as a railway employee.
