Jeff Seeney
Jeffrey William Seeney (born 2 February 1957) is a former Australian politician and the former Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development and Minister for Infrastructure and Planning of Queensland. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 1998 to 2017, representing Callide for the Nationals (1998–2008) and merged Liberal National Party (2008–2017). Seeney was Leader of the Opposition from September 2006 until January 2008 when he was ousted in favour of his predecessor, Lawrence Springborg. In March 2011, successive leader John-Paul Langbroek stood down in favour of Brisbane Lord Mayor Campbell Newman. Seeney was elected as deputy leader of the LNP, and became interim opposition leader while Newman led the LNP into the 2012 Queensland state election. The LNP won a landslide victory at that election, and per a previous agreement Seeney ceded his post as LNP parliamentary leader to Newman, clearing the way for Newman to become Premier of Queensland ...

Daphne Seeney
Daphne Seeney (2 February 1933 – 18 September 2020), married name Daphne Fancutt, was an Australian professional tennis player whose career spanned the 1950s. Seeney was a doubles finalist in the 1956 Wimbledon Championships with partner Fay Muller; they were defeated in the final by Angela Buxton and Althea Gibson in straight sets. In 1957, she married South African tennis player Trevor Fancutt in Johannesburg. Four years later, they moved to Brisbane and opened the Fancutts Tennis Centre, which they operated until 2015 when it was sold to make way for a retirement village. Angela Seeney is a British energy engineer and is Transformation Director at the nuclear decommissioning company Sellafield Ltd. Education Seeney has a bachelor's degree from the University of Birmingham (1980), and a Ph.D. (1986) in Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials also from Birmingham. Career Seeney worked for Shell for some years before 2015 when she was appointed as Director, Technology and Projects of the Oil and Gas Authority, and in 2016 was appointed to lead its Technology, Supply Chain and Data (TSD) directorate.
