Seeman (politician)
Senthamizhan Seeman (born 8 November 1966) is an Indian politician, filmmaker and the chief-coordinator of the political party Naam Tamilar Katchi in Tamil Nadu. He is an advocate of the creation of vote bank for Tamils. Seeman began his career as a filmmaker in the mid-1990s, working on films such as ''Panchalankurichi'' (1996) and ''Veeranadai'' (2000). The failure of his early films made it difficult for him to attract offers as a director and several of his proposed projects were stalled in the late 1990s. He later made a comeback through the successful vigilante film '' Thambi'' (2006), though the commercial failure of his next film, prompted Seeman to prioritise commitments as a supporting actor in the late 2000s. In the early 2010s, Seeman started a Tamil nationalist political party, and has since often been in the news for his controversial statements on Indian social issues. Bonnie Seeman
Bonnie Seeman (b. 1969, Huntington, New York ) is known for her ceramic work. She received a BFA in ceramics in 1991 from the University of Miami and an MFA in ceramics in 1996 from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. In 2006 her work was included in the exhibit ''One of a Kind: The Studio Craft Movement'' at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Enoch Seeman
Enoch Seeman the Younger ( – April 1745) was an English painter who was active during the first half of the Georgian era. He was born into a family of painters in Danzig. Career Seeman was brought to London from Danzig by his father, also Enoch (born circa 1660), in around 1704. The earliest known painting by the younger Seeman is a group portrait of the Bisset family in the style of the portraitist Godfrey Kneller, now held at Castle Forbes in Grampian, Scotland, and dated by an inscription to 1708. As a painter to the British royal court Seeman the Younger completed coronation portraits of George II and his wife Queen Caroline of Ansbach in around 1730. Jerry T. Seeman (March 11, 1936 − November 24, 2013) was an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) from 1975 to 1990 and was the NFL's Senior Director of Officiating from 1991 to 2001, succeeding Art McNally. In his 16 seasons in the NFL, Seeman was selected to officiate in 15 playoff games including two Pro Bowls, and two Super Bowls: XXIII in 1989 and XXV in 1991, and was an alternate referee for Super Bowl XIV in 1980. He wore uniform number 70 for the majority of his career (wearing number 17 during the 1979−81 seasons when officials were numbered by position), which was retired eight months after his death. Nadrian C. "Ned" Seeman (December 16, 1945 – November 16, 2021) was an American nanotechnologist and crystallographer known for inventing the field of DNA nanotechnology. Biography Seeman studied biochemistry at the University of Chicago and crystallography at the University of Pittsburgh. He became a faculty member at the State University of New York at Albany, and in 1988 moved to the Department of Chemistry at New York University.
