"See You Again" is a song written, produced, and performed by American rapper Tyler, the Creator featuring vocals from American singer Kali Uchis. It was released as the fourth single from Tyler's fourth studio album ''Flower Boy'' (2017) on August 29, 2017. The single went viral on TikTok, leading the song to enter several charts around the world for the first time in early 2023. Background Tyler, the Creator originally wrote the song for former One Direction member Zayn Malik, who turned it down. According to Tyler, Malik "flaked on studio time twice" and he kept the song for himself. Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), known professionally as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper and record producer. He is one of the founding members of the music collective Odd Future. Okonma self-released his debut mixtape Bastard (Tyler, the Creator mixtape), ''Bastard'' in 2009 and rapidly gained attention among the online music press for his horrorcore-influenced sound and violent, transgressive art, transgressive lyrical content. Urban contemporary music, also known as urban music, hip hop, urban pop, or just simply urban, is a music radio format. The term was coined by New York radio DJ Frankie Crocker in the early to mid-1970s as a synonym for Black music. Urban contemporary radio stations feature a playlist made up entirely of Black genres such as R&B, pop-rap, quiet storm, urban adult contemporary, hip hop, Latin music such as Latin pop, Chicano R&B and Chicano rap, and Caribbean music such as reggae and soca. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits. Rhythmic contemporary never uses hard rock or country in its airplay, but it may occasionally use a reggae, Latin, reggaeton, or a urban contemporary gospel hit. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. The other was a top 100 called Gorąca Setka (English: Hot 100), printed monthly in ''Gazeta Muzyczna''. This chart was compiled from actual sale figures as reported by over 130 music shops across Poland and included both albums and singles. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data.
