''Secrets of Haunted House'' was a horror-suspense comics anthology series published by American company DC Comics from 1975 to 1978 and 1979 to 1982. Publication history The series began in April–May 1975. Like its predecessor ''Secrets of Sinister House'', ''Secrets of Haunted House'' was originally "hosted" by Cain, Abel, Eve, and Destiny who had moved over from ''Weird Mystery Tales ''Weird Mystery Tales'' was a mystery horror comics anthology published by DC Comics from July–August 1972 to November 1975. Fred Carrillo
Wilfredo Limbana "Fred" Carrillo (1926–August 2005) was a Filipino comics artist. Biography Fred Carrillo was born in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. He began his career drawing propaganda material for the guerrilla movement in Panay during World War II. After the war, he began his career as a professional artist. Carrillo studied fine arts and architecture at the University of Santo Tomas. He worked for DC Comics in the 1970s and 1980s and drew mystery titles such as '' Ghosts'', ''Phantom Stranger'', ''Secrets of Haunted House'', '' The Unexpected'', ''Weird War Tales'', and '' The Witching Hour''. After leaving the comics industry, he worked on various animation projects. Don Newton
Don Newton (November 12, 1934 – August 19, 1984) was an American comics artist. During his career, he worked for a number of comic book publishers including Charlton Comics, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics. He is best known for his work on The Phantom, Aquaman, and Batman. Newton also drew several Captain Marvel/Marvel Family stories and was a fan of the character having studied under Captain Marvel co-creator C. C. Beck. Biography Newton was born in St. Charles, Virginia, but after being diagnosed with asthma at the age of four, the Newton family moved to Arizona. Michael Netzer (born 9 October 1955) is an American-Israeli artist best known for his comic book work for DC Comics and Marvel Comics in the 1970s, as well as for his online presence. Early life Michael Nasser (later Netzer) was born in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. His father was Adel Nasser a-Din, a Druze doctor of philosophy who worked most of his life in a Ford factory. His mother, Adele Ghazali, is a daughter to a Druze-Lebanese father and a Jewish-Lebanese mother who settled in New York in the 1920s. He contracted polio at the age of eight months which partially paralyzed his left hip and leg. Greg LaRocque (born February 24, 1954) is an American comics artist best known for his work on the ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' and ''The Flash''. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, LaRocque worked as an assistant teacher at the Professional Institute of Art while still a teenager. He started his art career in the advertising field. Adrian Gonzales (1937 – October 23, 1998) was a Filipino comics artist best known for his work on ''All-Star Squadron'', ''Arak, Son of Thunder'', and '' Super Powers'' for DC Comics. Career Adrian Gonzales began his career as a comic book artist in the 1960s working for such Philippine comics publications as ''Hiwaga Komiks'' and ''Tagalog Klasiks''. Michael Golden (comics)
Michael Golden is an American comics artist and writer best known for his late-1970s work on Marvel Comics' '' The Micronauts'' and ''The 'Nam'', as well as his co-creation of the characters Rogue and Bucky O'Hare. His work is known to have influenced the style of artist Arthur Adams. Ramona Fradon
Ramona Fradon (born October 2, 1926) is an American comics artist known for her work illustrating Aquaman and Brenda Starr, and co-creating the superhero Metamorpho. Her career began in 1950. Early life Ramona Fradon was born in Chicago and moved to New York when she was five. She grew up on the outskirts of New York City in Westchester County. Her father, Peter Dom, was a well known commercial lettering man and designed logos for Elizabeth Arden, Camel, and Lord & Taylor. Fradon also had an older brother and uncle in the lettering business. Her brother worked as a technician for the Air Corps overseas and eventually died of alcoholism. Her mother fell ill and died in 1952. She never read comic books growing up but she had a love for newspaper strips. Fradon's father was the one that encouraged her to go to art school. Lee Elias (May 21, 1920 – April 8, 1998) was a British-American comics artist. He was best known for his work on the ''Black Cat'' comic book published by Harvey Comics in the 1940s. Biography Emigrating to the United States from Manchester, England, when he was a boy, Elias studied art at the Cooper Union and the Art Students League of New York. Bill Draut (August 14, 1921–March 3, 1993) was an American comic book artist best known for his work at Harvey Comics and DC Comics from the 1940s to the 1970s. Biography Bill Draut began his career as an artist in the 1940s by drawing the "Sergeant Stony Craig" comic strip for the Bell Syndicate.
