The Second term of Edmund Ho Hau Wah as Chief Executive of Macau, officially considered part of "The 2nd term Chief Executive of Macau", relates to the period of governance of Macau since the transfer of sovereignty of Macau, between 20 December 2004 and 20 December 2009. Edmund Ho Hau Wah was reelected in mid 2004 by 300-member Selection Committee. Lau Si-io (劉仕堯) is a civil servant in Macau and the second Secretariat for Transport and Public Works. Biography Lau was born and raised in Macau, high school graduated from Yuet Wah College. Ao Man Long
Ao Man Long (; born in December 1956) was the first Secretary for Transport and Public Works of the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, from 20 December 1999 to 6 December 2006. On 8 December 2006, Ao was arrested based on a case built by the Macau Commission Against Corruption, making him the highest-ranking official arrested in the history of Macau. Ao had allegedly offered preference in government works projects, and had amassed assets totalling 804 million patacas. On 30 January 2008, Ao was found guilty on 40 counts of bribe-taking, amongst others, and was sentenced to 27 years in prison. Ao was aided and abetted by four family members, who were also jailed for between 10 and 18 years for money laundering. On 31 May 2012, Ao was found guilty of taking bribes of more than 31.9 million patacas, and received a sentence of 29 years in prison. Fernando Chui Sai-on (; born 13 January 1957) is a Macau politician who served as the 2nd Chief Executive of Macau from 2009 to 2019. He served as Secretary for Social and Cultural Affairs from 1999 to 2009. Chui was born in 1957 to local construction tycoon Chui Tak-seng and Chan Keng-fan, the second son after Chui Sai-cheong.
