The second Hasina cabinet was the Government of Bangladesh during the 9th legislative session of the Jatiya Sangsad following the 2008 general election, and serving from 6 January 2009 until 24 January 2014. Muhammad Afsarul Ameen
Muhammad Afsarul Ameen (born 1 January 1952) is a Awami League politician. He became the Member of Parliament for Chittagong-9 in 2008, was re-elected to the constituency (renumbered Chittagong-10) in 2014 and 2018, and was the Minister of Primary and Mass Education until 2014. Early life Ameen was born on 1 January 1952. He graduated with a M.B.B.S degree. Career Ameen was elected to Parliament from Chittagong-9 in 2008 as a candidate of Awami League. He received 137,106 votes while his nearest rival, Abdullah Al Noman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party, received 127,815 votes. Ameen was elected unopposed from Chittagong-10 as a candidate of Awami League. The election was boycotted by all major political parties and Awami League got majority of the seats without elections. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir
Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir (born 1 March 1942) is a Bangladeshi politician. He is a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chandpur-1 constituency since 2008, and was Minister of Home Affairs from 2011 to 2013. He is also an economist, civil servant, and writer in Bangladesh. Alamgir taught at the university until 1965. Joining the civil service that year, he served in numerous positions, for a total of 32 years. He held several positions with the Finance Ministry, in addition to regional posts. Beginning in the late 1990s, he was appointed to political positions when the Awami League was in power. He was detained without charges and tortured during 2002. Ghulam Muhammed Quader ( bn, গোলাম মোহাম্মদ কাদের; born 24 February 1948), better known as GM Quader, is a Bangladeshi politician and the current chairperson of Jatiya Party. He is the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member from the Lalmonirhat-3 constituency. He served as the Minister of Commerce and Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism from 2009 to 2014. Faruk Khan
Faruk Khan (born 18 September 1951) is a Bangladeshi politician and former Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism of Bangladesh Government. Khan is a parliament member for five consecutive times from Gopalganj-1 and former Commerce & Industry Secretary of the Awami League. Suranjit Sengupta
Suranjit Sengupta (5 May 1945 – 5 February 2017) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician. He resigned in 2012 as the first Railway Minister of Bangladesh. He was the member of parliament from Sunamganj-2 constituency in the Jatiya Sangsad and a member of the party's advisory council. Promode Mankin (18 July 1939 – 11 May 2016) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and State Ministry of Cultural Affairs (Bangladesh), Minister of Social Welfare Affairs.
