Second Hand Heart (Danny Gokey Song)
"Second Hand Heart" is a song recorded by American singer Danny Gokey. It was released July 4, 2011 through RCA Records Nashville as the intended lead single for his second studio album; however, he parted ways with the label in November 2011 and that album never materialized. The song was later included on Gokey's self-released 2012 extended play, ''Love Again''. "Second Hand Heart" was written by Cary Barlowe, Josh Kear, and Shane Stevens and was produced by Mark Bright. Content "Second Hand Heart" is a country song that incorporates a soulful, raspy vocal and "pop-leaning" production. Lyrically, the song speaks to the emotional baggage people carry and sends the message that a "second hand heart" is still capable of great love. Critical reception Matt Bjorke of ''Roughstock'' was complimentary of the song, writing that "Second Hand Heart" has "the sound of a song that can and should help re-establish Danny Gokey as a viable country radio star." Second-Hand Hearts
''Second-Hand Hearts'' is a 1981 American comedy film directed by Hal Ashby from a screenplay by Charles Eastman. A shorter version of this screenplay, under its original intended title ''The Hamster of Happiness'', was written by Eastman for the unconventional NBC anthology series ''NBC Experiment in Television'', which was broadcast in 1968 with Mildred Dunnock and Susan Tyrrell in the cast. It was the second of three films Ashby directed which were produced by Lorimar Productions. Plot description The film stars Barbara Harris as a manic, mercurial widow separated from her three children, and Robert Blake as an insecure loner who inadvertently marries her after the two of them go on a drunken bender. After losing his job soon after their marriage, she badgers him into taking her to recover her children, currently in the custody of her less-than-accommodating in-laws, and taking them all to California in the hope of a better life for them all. The film follows the unusual inci ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Hand Heart
A hand heart is a gesture in which a person forms a heart shape using their fingers. The upside down hand heart gesture was noted in art in 1989, when Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and American philosopher Chad Buelow created an art image of the gesture as his first artwork named ''Family Syntax''. The gesture became popular in the early 2010s. This gesture was added to Unicode 14.0 and Emoji 14.0 in 2021 with code point . Google patent Google filed a patent in July 2011 that allowed Google Glass users to use the hand heart in front of any objects, and the gadget automatically recognise the object, takes a picture, and send it to social networks as a "liked" image.
