Seble Tefera
Seble Tefera ( am, ሰብለ ተፈራ; 24 August 1976 – 12 September 2015) was an Ethiopian actress and comedian best known for her acting in various comedy films. She has been acting in the role of "Terfe" in a 2013 sitcom ''Betoch'' until her death. Life and career Seble Tefera was born on 24 August 1976 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She completed high school at Nefas Silk Comprehensive Secondary High School and attended Addis Ababa University in department of Theatrical Arts. Seble notably played as "Emama Chebe" in a radio program called ''Tininish Tsehayoch'' that broadcast in Fana Broadcasting Corporate from 2009 to 2014. She was known for role in various comedy films, notably in ''Yarefede Arada'' (2014), co-starring with Shewaferaw Desalegn. Bahir Dar ( amh, ባሕር ዳር, 3=sea shore) is the capital city of Amhara Region, Ethiopia. Bahir Dar is one of the leading tourist destinations in Ethiopia, with a variety of attractions in the nearby Lake Tana and Blue Nile river. Amhara Region
The Amhara Region ( am, አማራ ክልል, Åmara Kilil), officially the Amhara National Regional State (), is a regional state in northern Ethiopia and the homeland of the Amhara people. Its capital is Bahir Dar which is the seat of the Regional Government of Amhara. ''Betoch'' ( é to chə ) is an Ethiopian family sitcom starring Tilahun Gugsa airs on EBC (formerly ETV) since 2013. The series airs every Saturday and focuses on a middle class family living in Addis Ababa. It gained wide popularity among the broader Ethiopian public as it was the first sitcom ever aired in the country. Premise Character Zeru (Tilahun Gugsa), is a patriarch who manages his whole family from financial problems and crisis, trying to make his family in the appropriate situation that is necessary to their life. His wife Azalu (Makda Haile) have knowledge about law, treating her children in a fair way. They live with their four children Meraf (Gelila Raesom), Bezabe (Fikadu Fasil), Erestae (Melat Tesfaye), and Yebekal (Ashenafi Mehalet). Enkutatash ( Ge'ez: እንቁጣጣሽ) is a public holiday in coincidence of New Year in Ethiopia and Eritrea. It occurs on Meskerem 1 on the Ethiopian calendar, which is 11 September (or, during a leap year, 12 September) according to the Gregorian calendar. Holy Trinity Cathedral (Addis Ababa)
Holy Trinity Cathedral, also known in Amharic as Kidist Selassie, is the highest ranking Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was built to commemorate the Ethiopian victory over Italian occupation and is an important place of worship in Ethiopia, alongside other cathedrals such as the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in Axum. Title The cathedral bears the title "Menbere Tsebaot", or "Pure Altar". Built in 1942, the church compound was the burial place for those who fought against the Italian occupation, or those who accompanied the Emperor into exile from 1936 to 1941.
